Can Do Places

60 Seconds of Inspiration - Eleanor MacKinnon

Episode Summary

In the second episode in our new series 'Sixty Seconds of Inspiration' we ask our community superheroes to give us their top tips for a successful community project. In this podcast we meet Eleanor MacKinnon, Project Coordinator for The Rockfield Centre in Oban.

Episode Notes

On the 13th of May 2015, Oban Communities Trust officially took ownership of the former Rockfield School building in the centre of Oban with the ambition to transform it into a creative cultural hub for the town. You can find out more about their journey and how The Rockfield Centre came about and it's aims on their website.

Amongst Eleanor's tips are that you need to have energy and a belief. If you don’t have a belief in the project it will go no where.  Listen to our podcast to find out what other top tips she has for us.
